A 35m Private S/Y is seeking a reliable and proactive rotational 2nd engineer to join their experienced team.

• The vessel is currently cruising Southeast Asia and follows a relaxed but professional private program focused on remote anchorages and extended periods at sea.
• This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, working within a small crew, and being part of a dynamic and adventurous operation.
• You will support the chief engineer with day-to-day maintenance and technical operations, including fault-finding, preventative servicing, and upkeep of all onboard systems. As this is a sailing yacht, the role will also involve assisting on deck
• During passages and sailing operations as required.
• AEC 1&2 minimum (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience as a 2nd engineer or assistant engineer on similar-sized yachts
• Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including generators, main engines, hydraulics, watermakers, and air con
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Team player with a flexible, hands-on attitude
• Sailing yacht experience is preferred
• There is a fun diving and water sports program on board
• You must be comfortable with working in small engine rooms
• Practical, solution-focused mindset
• A package of €5,000 with time for time rotation is on offer
