  • 70m Dual season Private Motor yacht are seeking an experienced 2nd officer to join them early May 2026

 

  • Fantastic program with a longstanding senior team, excellent working environment, and owner

 

  • They are looking for an experienced 2nd officer with 1+ years’ experience in the position, OOW 3000 required and ideally working towards CM 3000

 

  • Must have good navigational watch keeping experience, confident with passage planning and a good overview and knowledge of all bridge equipment

 

  • The role is split between bridge and deck, and you will be required to work alongside the Bosun overseeing the daily deck operations along with tender driving

 

  • Interesting and varied cruising coming up including East and West Coast USA, Canada, Norway and potentially further afield before heading back to the US

 

  • The owner uses the yacht steadily with trips every few weeks lasting around 7-10 days at a time

 

  • They are looking for a motivated officer who can slot in seamlessly with the longstanding crew

 

  • On offer is a full rotation (2:2), industry standard salary DOE which will be discussed during initial call, 13th month bonus, excellent longevity bonus – full package can be discussed in initial call
