Role Overview

Yacht Size: 70m MY  
Start Date: ASAP – crossing mid November – would like someone to start sooner rather than later to get familiar with the yacht
Contract: 90 days leave
Compensation: €5,500 + - negotiable for the right candidate
Qualifications: STCW & ENG1 in date
Visa Requirements: Schengen

Yacht & Crew Profile

• 70m MY – launched this year
• Dual season yacht, with the yacht heading to the Caribbean after small warranty works
• Busy yacht with usually full guests and sometimes lunches for up to 20
• Working in an interior team of 5. Chief, 2^nd & 3 Stews
• Great team on board and the yacht is focused on training, with a healthy external training budget
• Owner loves the yacht and hosting and expects high end service
• As part of a new build, the yacht is still evolving and will continue to do so, over the next year and they are looking for someone that wants to be part of this project

The Role

• This is a very guest facing role. You will confident in elegant, fine dining and be able to engage and hold a conversation with guests
• Overseeing the HK and laundry when the Chief Stew is unable to
• You will be the right hand to the Chief Stew and as such, take on lots of responsibilities. You will be required to assist with admin, leading the team and be fantastic with service including fine dining, classy table scaping!
• Mocktails is a big part of the role – including homemade garnishes syrups and iced teas etc

Role Requirements

• 3 Years yacht experience and longevity on board your last yacht
• Ideally someone with a minimum of 1 years experience as 2^nd Stew on something 60m+
• You will be highly organised, systems orientated and excellent attention to detail
• You will be a warm person, hard working & eager to learn and lead the Stews with kindness
