Quay Group is partnering with a well-established single-family office to appoint an Accounting Manager into their Dallas-based finance team.

This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to take ownership of the family’s financial operations within a collaborative, close-knit environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day financial management of the family office. This position offers broad scope across financial reporting, cash management, and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the family accounting function and manage one direct report
• Prepare and review full financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, etc.)
• Oversee reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all financial activities
• Manage cash flow and support financial decision-making
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Partner with internal stakeholders across investments, tax, legal, and operations

About You

• 5+ years of accounting experience (family office, investment, or corporate environment)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capability
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly desirable)
• Proven ability to produce high-quality financial reporting
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
• CPA qualification preferred
