  • 60m Research Vessel are seeking an AB/Bosun to join them 5th July 2026 on a temporary contract covering an extended leave period for up to 7 months

 

  • Fantastic and exciting opportunity for an experienced AB/Bosun looking to get involved with exciting research operations in the Caribbean

 

  • Must hold MCA Able Seafarer or higher, Navigational watch rating STCW II/4 will suffice – open to both commercial and yachting experience – all STCW’s and ENG1 need to be valid

 

  • They are looking for a candidate with strong tender driving experience – confident driving up to 6 guests at a time. Proficient swimmer supporting submersible operations and recovery and experience in crane operations would be beneficial

 

  • Additional skills such as carpentry, dive experience or small boat engine maintenance would be advantageous but not essential

 

  • You will work on a 6 week on 6 weeks off rotation during the course of the contract

 

  • Salary ranges are DOE and between 6500-8500 USD depending on experience and certifications held – full package TBD during initial calls

 

  • Shared cabin onboard
