Chief or 2nd Engineer (Master 3000 or Unlimited) – Opportunity to transition to Shoreside Role

Are you an experienced Chief or 2nd Engineer with a Master 3000 or Unlimited CoC, looking to transition from life at sea to a dynamic, land-based role? We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient marine professional to join our Monaco-based team in a pivotal role supporting the build, refit, and technical management of high-end superyachts.

About the Role:

As part of our build team, you will act as a crucial link between shipyards (primarily in the South of France and Italy) and owners’ representatives. Your background in operating, maintaining, and managing vessels—especially superyachts (or boutique cruise ships Ritz-Carlton - gives you the practical edge to oversee complex builds and ensure the highest standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support new builds and major refits in European shipyards

• Liaise with shipyard engineers, suppliers, and technical partners

• Review technical documentation and specifications

• Travel regularly to shipyards in the South of France and Italy

Candidate Profile:

• Chief or 2nd Engineer (STCW Master 3000 or Unlimited)

• Experience on large yachts or small cruise ships

• Strong technical knowledge of marine engineering systems

• Fluent in English; French and/or Italian is a plus

• EU passport or right to work in Monaco/EU required

• Willingness to travel frequently to shipyards
