The Role

As CEO, you will work closely with the Board to shape and execute the company’s long- and short-term strategies, oversee operational delivery, and lead the organisation into its next stage of evolution. You will be responsible for inspiring teams, maintaining high governance standards, managing corporate risk, and championing continuous improvement across all business areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development and execution in partnership with the Board

• Oversee day-to-day operations across international ship repair and shipyard projects

• Build high-performing leadership teams and ensure optimal organisational structure

• Manage risk, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring professional, ethical and safe practices

• Maintain stakeholder trust through transparency, accountability, and effective communication

• Uphold and advance standards in quality, health, safety, and environmental management

The Ideal Candidate

• 20+ years’ experience in the marine industry, with deep exposure to ship repair and shipyard operations

• Degree-qualified in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering, with advanced management qualifications

• Member of a recognised professional body (e.g. Institute of Marine Engineers/Naval Architects)

• Demonstrated leadership in commercial, project, and corporate governance environments

• Strategic thinker with the resilience and authority to lead in a complex, fast-moving global market

• Exceptional communication, decision-making and team-building skills

• Experienced in managing budgets, operational risk, and international stakeholder engagement
