A globally respected, privately-owned organisation operating in the luxury maritime sector is seeking a strategic, commercially astute Chief Business Officer to help lead its yacht management business into its next phase of growth.
This is a confidential leadership appointment with broad international scope. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Board, this role will shape business strategy, oversee operations, and spearhead high-impact initiatives across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as a commercial and operational partner to the MD and senior leadership team

Lead strategic planning, growth initiatives, and market expansion activities

Oversee contract development, negotiation, and client onboarding

Drive continuous improvement, governance, and corporate compliance (GDPR, ISO9000)

Champion business integration, performance tracking, and cross-team collaboration

Represent the business in client meetings, global forums, and industry events

Manage large-scale projects including IT systems, corporate communications, and branding
About You:

Proven senior leader with a commercial, operations, or general management background

Experience in the maritime or luxury services sectors highly desirable

Exceptional communicator and relationship-builder with strong client-facing acumen

Strategic thinker with a hands-on, pragmatic approach

Adept at navigating international, fast-moving, and high-trust environments

Comfortable with frequent global travel and in-person leadership
