We are seeking a motivated and experienced Chief Engineer to join a busy 40m motor yacht operating a dual-season program between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean/US.
- The yacht runs an active private and charter schedule, so the successful candidate must be organised, hands-on, and confident in maintaining all systems to the highest standards during demanding guest operations.

- Easy going US owners, with charters in the Caribbean
- Proven experience as Chief or Sole Engineer on vessels of similar size (35m–50m range preferred)
- Sound knowledge of all onboard systems: engines, generators, AV/IT, HVAC, watermakers, hydraulics, etc.
- Strong record of managing PMS (planned maintenance systems) and yard/shipyard periods
- Ability to manage budgets, spare parts, and contractors efficiently
- Previous charter experience highly advantageous. You must be able to maintain reliability under guest and charter pressures
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude — this is a close-knit and active crew that enjoys working together
- Minimum Y3 CoC (or equivalent commercial ticket)
- Salary - €8,000 - €10,000, with 42 days leave Full time. Although, this may also be a rotation position. (Salary to reflect this)
