We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Chief / Sole Engineer to join a private 28m M/Y. 

• The yacht is currently in North America in the shipyard, and has been undergoing a lot of work to get it ready to come back to the Med
• As Sole Engineer, you will be fully responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all technical systems onboard.
• You will manage planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with flag and class requirements.
• This role requires strong organisation, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Overall responsibility for all mechanical, electrical and technical systems
• Planned maintenance system management and record keeping
• Budget management and spare parts inventory
• Liaising with contractors and shipyards
• Strong all round technical knowledge, including engines, generators, AV IT, plumbing and electrical systems
• You will need a B1/B2 to hand
• Y3/Y4 ticket is preferred, or an AEC 1&2 with solid engineering experience
• A package of €7k-€10k DOE and ticket is on offer with 38 days leave
