We are seeking a confident and experienced Deckhand to join a 35m+ Private/Charter M/Y operating a dual season between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

• This is a full-time position with a strong focus on maintaining high standards across all aspects of deck operations, guest service, and light engineering support.
• The ideal candidate will have at least one full season of experience on a similar-sized vessel, ideally within a charter environment.
• You should be comfortable handling a variety of deck duties including washdowns, mooring operations, anchoring, line handling, teak maintenance, and tender driving. A solid understanding of deck maintenance schedules and procedures is important.
• You will also be expected to assist the engineer when required, so an interest or background in basic engineering is essential. AEC certification is required for this reason, and previous hands-on experience is a big plus.
• A Yachtmaster offshore qualification is mandatory, and you must be confident driving and managing guests on large tenders.
• The role requires someone with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a busy charter setting.
• The vessel runs with a tight-knit and active crew who value teamwork and a positive onboard atmosphere.
• The captain is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to contribute both on charter and during quieter yard periods.
