We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Deck/Mate to join a well-run 25m Private M/Y operating primarily between the South of France and the Italian coastline.

• This is a permanent position suited to someone who enjoys a mix of active deck work and watchkeeping responsibility, within a close-knit, professional crew.
• Very easy going Med program
• The ideal candidate will be confident stepping up as second-in-command on deck, supporting the Captain with navigation, passages, and overall vessel operations, while still leading by example with day-to-day deck duties.
• Assist the Captain with navigation, passage planning, and bridge watches
• Oversee and maintain high standards across all deck operations
• Hands-on involvement in washdowns, teak care, and general exterior upkeep
• Support with mooring operations and guest activities
• Ensure safety procedures and maintenance schedules are adhered to
• Previous experience on similar-sized yachts in a Deck/Mate or senior deck role
• Strong seamanship and confident tender driver
• Yachtmaster Offshore will enhance your application
• Good knowledge of the Mediterranean cruising grounds
• Positive, proactive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
• Professional presentation and good guest interaction skills
• A salary of €3,000 is on offer, although it could be increased if you bring more to the table
