An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Hospitality to join a highly private UHNW family, primarily based in New York City with travel to additional residences.
We are looking for a polished, highly capable hospitality professional with exceptional service standards and a genuine passion for creating a seamless guest and family experience.
This position could be particularly well suited to an experienced Chief Steward/ess or senior yacht interior/service professional looking to transition ashore, as well as candidates from luxury hospitality, (hotel/restaurant) or high-level private estate environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee exceptional hospitality and service standards across private residences
- Lead, train, and develop household service teams
- Ensure residences are beautifully presented and consistently maintained to the highest standards
- Oversee guest experience, entertaining, dinners, and events
- Establish and maintain service standards, procedures, and household systems
- Anticipate principal and guest preferences and requirements
- Work collaboratively with household and Family Office teams
- Remain hands-on and willing to support the team as required
- Travel between residences as needed
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years' experience within luxury hospitality, yachting, or UHNW private service
- Previous leadership and team-management experience
- Exceptional knowledge of luxury service and presentation
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Warm, polished, discreet, and professional
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and genuine "can-do" mentality
- Calm and adaptable within a fast-paced private environment
- Comfortable with domestic and international travel
- Valid driver's license and passport
- Excellent, verifiable references
