The Opportunity

Our UHNW client is seeking a highly professional and adaptable Domestic Couple  to oversee the smooth running, upkeep, and day-to-day management of multiple private residences across the United States. Based in Washington, D.C., the couple will also travel regularly to properties in New York and Minnesota, ensuring that each residence is maintained to five-star standards and fully prepared for the principals’ arrival.

This is a land-based role, perfect for ex Yacht crew. This would be great for a team ready to transition ashore into a long-term lifestyle position. This is a hands-on, service-driven role ideal for a couple who thrive in a dynamic environment and value discretion, professionalism, and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of multiple residences
• Act as the primary liaison with vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Manage household budgets, expenses, and petty cash reporting
• Provide food service and light cooking when principals are in residence
• Ensure all homes are guest-ready, with housekeeping, organization, and supplies in place
• Support travel logistics including packing/unpacking and property readiness
• Drive principals and guests as required ( Vehicles provided)
• Handle laundry, wardrobe management, and light valet duties
• Assist with occasional events and small gatherings
• Manage seasonal property openings/closings

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in private service (domestic couple, yacht crew, or luxury hospitality strongly preferred)
• Hands-on, service-oriented, and highly detail-focused
• Flexible and adaptable to frequent travel and changing schedules
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Requirements

• Valid U.S. work authorization (both candidates)
• Clean, valid U.S. driver’s licenses
• Excellent verifiable references from previous employers
• Willingness to live-in (housing provided in Washington, D.C.)
