An experienced Estate Manager is required for an ultra-high-net-worth private family based in Miami, overseeing a newly acquired property that is not yet staffed, with responsibility for an additional new residence.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone highly organised, service-driven, and confident building an estate operation from the ground up. Ex-yacht crew are strongly encouraged to apply, as the role suits candidates accustomed to high standards, guest service, and operational oversight.
The family is also open to a domestic couple, for example Estate Manager & Private Chef or similar complementary skillsets.
Key Responsibilities
- Full operational oversight of the Miami residence
- Recruiting, onboarding, and managing household staff (housekeeping, maintenance, security, etc.)
- Establishing systems, procedures, and service standards for a newly staffed home
- Day-to-day estate management including maintenance, vendors, and budgets
- Guest liaison and hands-on assistance to ensure seamless stays and exceptional service
- Coordination with principals, family office, and external service providers
- Ensuring discretion, privacy, and security at all times
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as an Estate Manager, Chief Steward/Stewardess, or Senior Yacht Crew transitioning shoreside
- Strong background in UHNW service environments
- Confident recruiter and people manager
- Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Excellent interpersonal and guest-facing skills
- Comfortable managing multiple properties
- Discreet, professional, and service-oriented
