Executive Assistant to CEO – Wealth Management Firm

I’m partnering with a well-established, growing wealth management firm to identify an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the firm’s Chief Executive Officer.

Based in the Washington, DC metro area, this is a critical, trusted role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoys being the right hand to senior leadership. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining absolute discretion.

The Role

This position serves as the operational backbone of the CEO’s office, ensuring seamless day-to-day execution while supporting broader strategic initiatives. You’ll act as a key liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders and play an integral role in keeping priorities on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive-level administrative support, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel planning

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, handling correspondence and communications with professionalism and discretion

  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and summaries; track action items and follow through to completion

  • Support ad hoc projects, research, and analysis tied to firm-wide initiatives

  • Maintain strict confidentiality around sensitive business and client matters

  • Oversee organization of executive files, documents, and workflows to ensure operational efficiency

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, offsites, and occasional events, delivering a polished and professional experience

Ideal Background

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-suite or senior executives, ideally within financial services, wealth management, or a professional services environment

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities calmly and effectively
