Experienced Groundskeeper | UHNW Private Estate | Pacific Palisades, CA
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Groundskeeper to join a prestigious UHNW private estate in Pacific Palisades, California.
The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining the estate's extensive grounds to the highest possible standard, ensuring the property is presented impeccably at all times. This is a hands-on role suited to an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and accustomed to working within a high-expectation private household environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all gardens, lawns, landscaped areas, pathways, and outdoor living spaces to an exceptional standard
- Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and irrigation management
- Monitor the overall health and appearance of plants, trees, and shrubs
- Operate and maintain gardening and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure outdoor entertaining areas are guest-ready at all times
- Assist with seasonal planting, garden enhancements, and special landscape projects
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds and identify any maintenance requirements
- Manage outdoor inventories, tools, and supplies
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors as required
- Support the wider estate team with additional property-related tasks when needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working as a Groundskeeper, Gardener, or Estate Groundskeeper within a private estate, luxury hospitality setting, or similar environment
- A strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance
- Experience operating landscaping equipment and machinery
- A proactive, hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a wider household team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A positive, flexible attitude and a strong work ethic
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
