Experienced Housekeeper – UHNW Private Estate

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeper to join a fully staffed private estate in the San Francisco Bay Area. Working under the guidance of the House Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards across a beautifully appointed residence while becoming part of a professional, collaborative household team.
This is a long-term position for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who genuinely takes pride in creating an immaculate home. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in large private residences and understand the discretion, flexibility, and service standards expected within a UHNW household.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the residence, including daily housekeeping and scheduled deep cleaning.
- Care for fine linens, luxury clothing, and delicate household items, including laundering, ironing, folding, wardrobe organization, and coordinating dry cleaning.
- Make and maintain beautifully presented guest and family bedrooms.
- Care for furniture, fixtures, antiques, upholstery, and specialty finishes using appropriate cleaning techniques.
- Organize household spaces and ensure the home remains guest-ready at all times.
- Manage household inventories, including cleaning supplies and household essentials.
- Assist with shopping for household supplies and occasional personal errands.
- Help create and maintain housekeeping schedules, inventories, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as required and assist with household maintenance requests.
- Provide support during family events and entertaining.
- Assist with moves between residences and occasional travel to support additional properties as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working in a large, fully staffed private residence.
- Exceptional housekeeping and laundry skills with experience caring for luxury fabrics and fine linens.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional, discreet, and service-oriented.
- Positive, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with other household staff.
- Comfortable using modern household technology and smart home systems.
- Flexible to occasionally work weekends or holidays when required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
