Yacht & Crew Profile
- Excellent 40m with superb owners and long-standing Captain are looking for a first mate to join them 15th October in the USA
- Winter cruising includes Antigua yacht show, Caribbean, Bahamas and US cruising with a mixture of owner and charter usage – 1 confirmed 8-day charter over Christmas period with other enquiries on the table
- Well run yacht with a lovely family, plenty of watersports and short trips
- Total deck team of 3 – First mate, Bosun and Deckhand
- Well maintained yacht running Mini ISM and high standards, total team of 9 onboard
- Salary 7500 USD, 60 days leave, 13th month, split of tips, full medical. Up to 5k USD per year training allowance
Role Requirements
- OOW 3000 COC
- Previous bridge/watch keeping experience – ideally suit someone with previous mate experience on similar size or 2nd officer from larger yacht
- Strong tender driving experience, confident running a small team, good with guest interaction and comfortable getting in the water to run watersports with guests
- Strong eye for detail with excellent guest interaction skills
