We are seeking a hands-on and experienced first mate to join a 40m Classic Private M/Y.

• The vessel is immaculately maintained and run to a high standard, with a longstanding crew and a relaxed, professional program.
• This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys classic yachts, takes pride in presentation and upkeep, and is confident leading deck operations on a private, owner-focused vessel.

• Strong previous experience on similar-sized vessels in a first mate or lead deck role
• Confident with navigation, bridge watches, and all deck operations
• Comfortable leading a small team and assisting with guest activities
• Practical knowledge of maintenance, paint care, teak, and line handling
• Solid shipyard experience is a must!
• Professional, calm, and takes initiative
• Tender driving experience required
• Yachtmaster Offshore ticket required as a minimum 
• Couples with a Chief Stew accepted 
• A package of €5,000 with 42 days leave is on offer
