A wonderful private family is seeking an exceptional full-time Spanish-speaking Nanny to join them in a long-term position caring for their young baby.

The family's primary residence is in Colorado, although they spend a significant amount of time in Los Angeles and travel regularly both domestically and internationally.

The family is very open to candidates relocating from Los Angeles, New York, Miami, San Francisco, or elsewhere in the U.S., and full relocation assistance will be provided for the right person.

Spanish Fluency Is Essential

The family would like their child to grow up with Spanish as a meaningful part of their everyday life and education.

Candidates must therefore be fully fluent in Spanish, with the ability to confidently speak, read, and write in Spanish and introduce the language naturally through conversation, books, songs, play, and age-appropriate learning.

The Role

The Nanny will take responsibility for providing attentive, engaging, developmentally appropriate care and creating a warm, stimulating environment for the baby.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional day-to-day care for the baby
• Supporting developmental milestones and age-appropriate learning
• Speaking Spanish consistently and encouraging natural language development
• Reading, singing, playing, and engaging with the child in Spanish
• Planning age-appropriate educational activities, outings, and experiences
• Encouraging curiosity, independence, and confidence as the child develops
• Taking a thoughtful, child-led approach to learning and development
• Supporting healthy routines around feeding, naps, sleep, and play
• Preparing and organizing items required for the child's daily routine
• Keeping the nursery and children's areas organized and beautifully maintained
• Managing the child's laundry, clothing, toys, books, and supplies
• Researching classes, activities, and age-appropriate experiences
• Packing and preparing for travel
• Traveling with the family between Colorado and Los Angeles, as well as on other domestic and international trips
• Working collaboratively with the parents and wider household team
• Adapting routines appropriately when traveling or moving between residences

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a career Nanny who genuinely loves working with babies and young children and understands the importance of these early developmental years.

The successful candidate will ideally offer:

• Complete fluency in Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing
• Strong professional infant and/or toddler experience
• Excellent knowledge of early childhood development
• A warm, nurturing, calm, and engaging personality
• A thoughtful and educational approach to childcare
• An understanding of Montessori principles or a similar child-led philosophy would be highly desirable
• Confidence traveling extensively with a private family
• Strong organization and communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively within a fully staffed private household
• Flexibility and adaptability
• A proactive approach and the ability to anticipate a child's needs
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and professionalism
• A valid driver's license
• Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Excellent, verifiable professional references

Relocating to Colorado

Candidates do not need to currently live in Colorado.

We are particularly interested in hearing from exceptional Spanish-speaking nannies currently based in Los Angeles and other major U.S. cities who would consider relocating for the right long-term opportunity.

The position is live-out, and the family will provide relocation assistance to help make the move as seamless as possible.

Importantly, the family will continue to spend regular time in Los Angeles, alongside other domestic and international travel.
