Live-In Housekeeper
Private Estate | South of France
Target start date: 1 October / c€3000pm
We are seeking an experienced and personable Live-In Housekeeper for a substantial private estate in the South of France.
This opportunity would be particularly well suited to a Superyacht Stewardess looking to transition ashore after the current Mediterranean season. The estate is busy during the summer months, while autumn and winter offer a much quieter schedule and considerable downtime.
The Principal and family are approachable, amiable and value a warm, discreet and professional household environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the estate to an excellent standard
- Cleaning, laundry, ironing and household organisation
- Preparing the residence for family visits and guests
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the property
- Walking the family dogs twice daily
- Liaising with other household staff and external suppliers when required
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience aboard a superyacht, within a private residence or in luxury hospitality
- Friendly, flexible and highly reliable
- Discreet, organised and attentive to detail
- Comfortable caring for and walking dogs
- Able to work independently and adapt to seasonal changes in workload
- Legally entitled to live and work in France
