A discreet UHNW private household is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Laundress to join their established domestic team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on the meticulous care of an extensive wardrobe and high-quality household linens, with occasional support to the housekeeping team when required. 

Position Details

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Daytime hours 9am - 5pm 
• Based at a private residence

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all laundry processes for clothing, linens, and delicate items
• Provide specialist care for luxury garments, fine fabrics, and couture pieces
• Sort laundry appropriately by fabric type and care instructions
• Carry out careful stain treatment and light garment maintenance
• Hand-wash delicate items as needed
• Steam and press garments to a high, ready-to-wear standard
• Ensure wardrobes and linens are neatly organised, stored, and well maintained
• Assist with wardrobe rotation and seasonal organisation
• Support with light mending such as buttons and minor repairs
• Maintain an organised laundry area and inventory of linens and garments
• Provide occasional housekeeping assistance, including cleaning rooms, changing linens, and maintaining overall household presentation 

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Laundress within a private household or similar high-standard environment
• Strong knowledge of fabric care and handling of delicate and luxury items
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of confidentiality
• Well-organised, proactive, and able to manage workload independently
• Flexible team player with a positive, professional attitude
