A lovely opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeper to take sole charge of a beautiful private family home, ensuring it is always maintained to an exceptional standard and ready for the Principal and guests.

This is a highly trusted, hands-on position for someone who takes real pride in their work, enjoys creating an immaculate and welcoming home, and is confident managing the day-to-day housekeeping of a high-end residence independently.

The role would suit someone with experience from a private estate, superyacht or 5-star hotel environment, who understands discretion, exceptional standards and the importance of anticipating what is needed before being asked.

The Role

You will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day housekeeping of the property, including:

• Full housekeeping and presentation of the residence
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
• Maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas to an exceptional standard
• Ensuring the house is beautifully prepared for the Principal, family and guests
• Managing household supplies and maintaining excellent organisation
• Liaising with contractors or external suppliers when required
• Caring for high-quality furnishings, fabrics and finishes
• Supporting guest stays and busier periods within the household
• Taking ownership of the property when the Principal is away

This is a sole-charge role supporting the House Manager, so confidence, initiative and excellent organisation are essential.

Travel Opportunity

There may also be the opportunity to travel internationally with the Principal.

Package

Salary: £50,000 per annum
