Project Manager – Superyacht New Build
Location: BASED IN Northern Italy

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of two superyacht new build projects in the 60–80m range, based in Northern Italy.

This position would suit a Build Captain or Build Engineer looking to transition ashore, bringing practical vessel and shipyard experience into a project management environment.

The Role

Working alongside a Senior Project Manager, you will support the coordination and delivery of new build programmes, ensuring projects progress according to schedule, budget, and technical specifications.

You will act as a key point of coordination between the shipyard, owners’ representatives, contractors, and suppliers, helping to ensure clear communication and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of new build projects.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

• Supervise works during yard periods, ensuring quality standards are met.

• Liaise with captains, crew, shipyards, and contractors throughout the build process.

• Provide technical insight based on operational vessel experience.

• Support commissioning, sea trials, and final delivery phases.

Candidate Profile

• Former or current Superyacht Captain holding a 3000GT or Unlimited licence.

• Minimum 6 months yard experience, either during a refit or late-stage new build (pre-trials/commissioning).

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Right to work in Europe is essential.

Package

• Salary circa €10,000 per month (flexible depending on experience).
