Overview
An opportunity has opened for an experienced Project Manager to join an owner's team overseeing the build of a 65-meter ice-class yacht in Turkey. This role is critical to the success of the project and will involve hands-on leadership through the complex fit-out stage.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in superyacht new builds, a strong engineering foundation, and the ability to coordinate between subcontractors, the shipyard, and the owner's representatives. You’ll take over the day-to-day management of the project, allowing senior stakeholders to focus on broader company growth initiatives.
This position is ideal for someone looking to embed themselves in a long-term collaboration with future project potential.
Key Responsibilities

Take over project control, coordinating daily activities on site

Monitor and report on all subcontractor workstreams (paint, AV/IT, interiors, etc.)

Maintain constant awareness of project status and provide quick, accurate updates on demand

Negotiate effectively with the shipyard to uphold yacht-quality standards

Collaborate closely with design offices, production teams, and owner's representatives

Drive change order processes and documentation
Essential Experience & Skills:

New build experience from early stages through to completion

Experience in shipyards, especially with large yachts (65m+)

Background in engineering; capable of engaging confidently with technical experts

Strong understanding of the change order process

Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills

Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors and third-party specialists

Familiarity with design office coordination and quality control in complex builds
