We are seeking a Scientific / Marine Environmental Research Diver to conduct underwater environmental research and conservation work.
This role will involve:
- Conducting underwater environmental research and scientific monitoring.
- Collecting environmental samples and evidence.
- Mapping illegal underwater dump sites.
- Inspecting and surveying underwater structures and habitats.
- Recording underwater observations and survey data.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records of survey findings.
- Dive with dry suits and full-face masks.
- Work your way up to Scientific Diver Instructor - Scientific Diver training takes one month to complete.
This position is in the South of France, with paid shore-based accommodation with a private swimming pool and gym.
Working hours are 8 hours per day, 5 days a week (evenings & weekends off).
On offer is a salary of €4,000 per month and 2 months paid leave each year.
