A private family based between Los Angeles and Colorado is seeking two exceptional newborn care professionals to join their household ahead of the arrival of their baby in August 2026.
The family is hiring:
- 1 Rotational Day Nurse / Newborn Care Specialist
- 1 Rotational Night Nurse / Newborn Care Specialist
This is a high-profile, fully staffed household seeking calm, experienced, discreet professionals with an excellent understanding of newborn development and infant care.
The ideal candidates will have prior private household experience and either hands-on experience with, or openness to, elimination communication (EC) - a responsive infant toileting approach sometimes referred to as “potty training from birth.”
Responsibilities
- Full newborn care support
- Establishing and maintaining feeding and sleep routines
- Monitoring developmental milestones
- Maintaining nursery cleanliness and organization
- Bottle preparation and sterilization
- Detailed daily/overnight logs and communication
- Supporting elimination communication practices
- Collaboration with parents and household staff
- Domestic travel between residences as needed
Ideal Candidates
- Extensive newborn and infant experience
- Prior experience in private households preferred
- Background as a Newborn Care Specialist, maternity nurse, or rotational nanny
- Calm, professional, discreet, and highly organized
- Confident working in fully staffed homes
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Travel flexibility required
- Strong references essential
