We are recruiting an experienced Yacht Manager to join an established yacht management company in Monaco.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a portfolio of professionally managed yachts, working closely with owners, Captains, crew and shore-based colleagues to ensure each vessel operates safely, efficiently and to the standards expected by its owner.

This is a varied, client-facing position requiring someone who understands the practical realities of running large yachts, can manage competing priorities and is confident dealing with both operational and regulatory matters.

The Role

• Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of yachts, acting as the principal point of contact for owners, Captains and other key stakeholders.

• Coordinate operational requirements, maintenance planning, service delivery and financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with Flag State, Class, ISM, MLC and other relevant statutory requirements.

• Oversee vessel and crew certification, safety management systems, audits and inspections.

• Work closely with Captains, technical colleagues, suppliers and contractors to resolve operational issues and maintain vessel readiness.

• Conduct yacht visits and support emergency-response procedures when required.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and develop additional management business.

About You

You will have relevant yacht management experience, a sound understanding of large-yacht operations and the confidence to build effective working relationships with owners and senior crew.

We are particularly interested in candidates who combine strong operational judgement with a practical understanding of yacht compliance and safety management.

You should be organised, commercially aware, approachable and capable of taking ownership of your portfolio without losing sight of the detail.

Experience working with ISM, Flag State and Class requirements is important, as is the ability to communicate clearly and manage several vessels and competing priorities.
