A 40m Private Motor Yacht is seeking an experienced and confident Sole Chef to join for a Caribbean and US East Coast cruising program.
- This is a private vessel with a hands-on, family-oriented program requiring a well-rounded chef who can consistently deliver high standards in a sole capacity.
- This role would suit someone organised, adaptable, and creative, who enjoys working independently while remaining a strong team player within a small crew
- Planning and delivering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and occasional snacks for owners and guests
- Producing a mix of relaxed family-style meals and refined plated dining when required
- Catering to dietary requirements and preferences with creativity and flexibility
- Managing all provisioning in both the Caribbean and US East Coast
- Budget control, inventory management, and cost tracking
- Maintaining exceptional hygiene and food safety standards
- Organising and maintaining a clean, efficient galley
- Liaising with the Captain and Chief Stewardess regarding guest preferences and trip planning
- Previous experience as a Sole Chef on a similar-sized yacht
- Strong background in Mediterranean, modern European, and fresh, health-focused cuisine
- Confident provisioning experience in the Caribbean and United States
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing schedules
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic
- B1/B2 is essential
- A package of $8k-$10k DOE is on offer with 38 days leave
