We are currently seeking an experienced Sole Engineer to join a 40m New Build Private M/Y.

• This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professionally run program with a great owner, offering longevity and responsibility from the ground up
• The vessel is due to be launched at the end of September
• The program will run as a single Med season
• overseeing all engineering systems onboard (MTU engines, generators, AV/IT, HVAC, etc.)
• Managing planned maintenance schedules using PMS software
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving across all technical areas
• Coordinating warranty claims and liaising with the shipyard and subcontractors
• Assisting during yard periods and technical inspections
• Previous experience as Sole Engineer on similar-sized yachts or strong 2nd Engineer stepping up
• Knowledge of modern yacht systems and high attention to detail
• Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
• Y3 minimum (or equivalent commercial ticket)
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Experience with new builds and commissioning is a plus
• A generous package of €7,500 - €8,500 DOE is on offer with time for time rotation
• This position will start at the beginning of September
