We are looking for a competent and hands-on Sole Engineer to join a well-maintained 36m private/charter M/Y operating in the Mediterranean.

• The yacht runs a mixed private and charter program, so a strong service mindset and good guest awareness are important alongside solid engineering skills.
• Proven experience as Sole Engineer on vessels of similar size
• You will need an SV Chief's or Y3 ticket as a minimum.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, fault finding, and daily engine room operations
• Confident in managing all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance schedules and spares
• Previous charter experience preferred but not essential
• Positive, solution-focused attitude and good communication with captain and crew
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all engineering systems on board
• Planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and liaising with contractors and shipyard
• Supporting yard periods and surveys as required
• Budget awareness and spares management
• Assisting on deck when required during operations
• A package of up to €8,000 with 45 days leave is on offer
• Shared tips during charter - Up to €2k a week during the season
