55m motor yacht is seeking a Sous Chef to join their team on a private/charter dual season program cruising the South Pacific and Caribbean.

  • The vessel operates a mix of private owner use and charter, so the galley runs to a high standard while maintaining the flexibility required during busy charter periods.
  • The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in all aspects of galley operations, helping to deliver high quality guest dining as well as daily crew meals.
  • This is a great opportunity for a motivated chef looking to grow within a professional yacht galley while gaining valuable charter experience.
  • The role requires someone organised, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Assist the Head Chef with guest meal preparation and service
  • Prepare crew meals to a good standard
  • Support provisioning and stock control
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the galley
  • Assist with menu preparation and organisation during charters
  • Food Safety and Hygiene certificates are required 
  • B1/B2 is essential 
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef on a yacht or strong restaurant background
  • Positive attitude and strong team player
  • A package of €5,000 with 42 days leave is on offer 
  • Shared cabin
  • Start date: 30th March
