Temp Sole/Sous Chef

Private 70m M/Y based in North America is seeking a temporary Sous Chef to step up as Sole Chef while the Head Chef is on leave.

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and organised chef looking to gain strong solo experience onboard a well-run private vessel.
  • This is a great role that could lead into a rotational role, and join a vessel that has an exciting itinerary ahead 
  • The role will involve cooking primarily for crew, with no planned owner trips during this period, allowing for a steady and manageable workload.
  • Candidates should be comfortable running the galley independently, producing nutritious and varied crew meals, managing provisioning, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Having bread baking and dessert experience is more favourable
  • Start date is early June through to the end of July.
  • Previous yachting experience preferred
  • Confident cooking independently for crew
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and easy-going personality
  • B1/B2 is essential
